Bab 145: Jealousy

"There are some snacks and dishes inside. I made them myself and brought them to you." Lin Jin's voice was already beginning to tremble.

Lu Zhao sized up Lin Jin.

"I never accept frivolous, fraudulent business partners. You should reflect upon yourself before coming to me with another proposal." Lu Zhao pointed at the door.

Lin Jin's face turned red and white. The embarrassment of being exposed made her wish she could bury herself in the ground.

As soon as Lin Jin left the room, Lu Zhao picked Luo Ying up from under the table. He placed Luo Ying on the table and reached out to gently pinch her waist.

"What's wrong? Did you hide under the table because of her?" Lu Zhao's gaze was a little playful.

"Of course not. I was hiding here to give you a surprise. How could I have expected her to come in?" Luo Ying picked up the lunch box and looked at it with some heartache.
