"Yes." Bai Lanhua nodded to them. "The trial of light is a test for becoming a member of the Holy Temple, and there are several stages we must pass, one of which is the darkness within us. To pass the test, we must completely cleanse ourselves of negative emotions and other things that can lead us into darkness. If we have a speck of darkness within us, we will fail. If we can pass all of those tests, then we will receive the blessing of light at the end, which will increase the potential of our light element."

"Isn't that too difficult to complete, Big Sis?" Huang Shuanger asked with a frown.

Bai Lanhua immediately turned to Huang Shuang'er. "Nothing in our lives is easy, remember? Every year, we hold the test, and less than one percent of participants pass all of them, a testament to the difficulty of overcoming the darkness within us.
