Bab 77: A Sneak Attack At Night

Vampires were exotic beings that gave up their humanity for the sake of eternal youth and eternal life.

It was expected of them to keep exotic pets.

Initially, some barons and lords opted to keep beasts from the far East as pets, such as jaguars, cheetahs, anacondas, and bears.

Some even kept wolves to spite the werewolves.

After much discussion, it was agreed to ban several kinds of pets.

No wolves.

No bats.

No poisonous or deadly plants or animals.

No wild predators.

In the end, Ryan Caldwell had to be content with keeping a pair of Pitbulls that he took for a walk outside every Wednesday night.

For the rest of the week, the dogs were allowed to wander in Zen Space's massive garden.

Tonight, the vampire was accompanied by his cousin, Zane Caldwell.

Seeing that the park was empty, Zane did not bother keeping his voice down.

"Ryan, seriously, must you walk your dogs tonight??? I need to talk to you!"
