Bab 70: I Don't Like Men, Do You?

While Ryan and Lord Marcus Caldwell were conversing outside, the person they were talking about was wide awake.

Lying on the bed in the next chamber, Aiden could hear every word they said.

Especially Ryan's last words.

Each word was no different from a rusty nail that was hammered into Aiden's heart.

"I don't like men."

The words echoed a few times in Aiden's head, refusing to go away.

Aiden cursed under his breath when his eyes started to sting and tears started to form in his eye sockets. He pressed his face against the pillow to prevent the tears from falling, but they fell nonetheless, wetting the pillow sheet instead of running down his cheeks.

Ryan Caldwell did not like men.

Of course, he didn't.

He was Ryan Caldwell.

The Vampire Prince.

He was in a relationship with Jenny Parsons. Aiden saw them engaging in adult activities.

What was Aiden thinking?
