Bab 184: A reason to come down for the wedding

Chairman Kim was not surprised that something like this would happen given the current situation of their relationship.

He was only trying to talk about it in a way that had hurt me.

"Yes. I thought you didn't care about us hence I decided to spare you the trouble of getting involved with the affairs of the son you abandoned." Kim Chae-Yeon replied.

It didn't matter that her intentions for reaching out to him wasn't to pick a fight. It would have been better of he didn't try to sound like he was left out so she wouldn't have to get annoyed with him.

To her response, Chairman Kim was quiet for a moment before finding his voice. "What about Ji-hun's wedding?"

At the end, he decided to abandon whatever reason that would cause them to fight.

Seeing him going back to the opening of their conversation earlier, Kim Chae-Yeon snorted. It was better for him.
