Bab 672: Silent Witnesses: The Death Trap of the Village

Lyle cursed under his breath as his eyes darted between Corin's unconscious body and the grotesque scenes in front of him. The scent of blood had triggered Corin's primal instincts, something Lyle truly didn't expect to happen here. His gaze hardened as he surveyed the scene once again.

The villagers were all dead, some of their bodies twisted unnaturally while others were cut apart with what seemed to be a sharp weapon. There were some, however, who were alive, their bodies injured severely as they seemed to be on their last breath.

None were corrupted, however, this was clearly not the work of the corruption or a person who serves the corruption, it was done by someone who simply seemed to enjoy seeing the people in this state.
