As Basen and the rest of his group entered the empire and started with their search for Lyle and the others, the higher-ups of the empire were all informed of it, which alarmed them all.

They all quickly went to meet with the emperor and asked for an official meeting with all the generals and other important figures present.

The meeting was quickly established, and all of the people who were supposed to be present were called over, none daring to make the emperor wait for an instant longer than they could.

Only those who were further away from the capital and couldn't come quickly were invited as there was no time to wait for them.

"Your Majesty, we … we need to take this seriously." One official said as the others all nodded, with another speaking right after him.
