Bab 346: Preparing for the Empire's Actions

Lyle and Ruby ventured into the small forest, the canopy of ancient trees casting dappled shadows on the ground. The place was quiet and tranquil, the perfect location for the evolution of a servant. As they arrived at the chosen spot, Lyle motioned for Ruby to step forward.

Lyle suddenly pressed his palm against a tree next to him, causing a small mark to appear on the tree before a portion of the ground in front of Ruby parted, showing a staircase that led down.

Lyle nodded to Ruby who walked below, small ethereal lamps activating as she reached further below, lighting her way for her.

Ruby reached the bottom and entered through a door before stopping in the middle of the underground space and sitting down before starting her evolution.

The ground above closed as an array activated, hiding Ruby's presence and the mana fluctuation from the outside world, keeping everything in the forest tranquil and silent.
