Bab 245: Shadows of Zione: The Vying Powers and Unseen Foes

Right now, in the city of Zione, three separate powers were vying for supremacy. In the eyes of the army, as well as the civilians, however, there were only 2 powers they knew of, the army was one of them, and the assassins were the other party, with Lyle and his servants still being hidden in the dark.

A couple of days had passed since the attack on the military camp, and the changes that such a direct attack and blatant disregard for the army and their power were immediately visible.

The army had abandoned the other camps and were now only utilizing the main 4 camps that had multiple arrays stacked on them, as well as many defenses that had been placed around such as traps, defensive turrets that can shoot out steel pellets powered by mana, and more.

"What happened?" Lyle asked a Lieutenant that arrived in his tent to give a report.
