"So, all we have to show for ourselves is the loss of multiple soldiers and officers, and a couple of traitors that you have managed to kill, no assassins yet?" The praetor of the city, lord Ishtamar, said as he looked at the Brigadier General and the others who were present.

The praetor, the Brigadier General, the head of the Adventurers Guild branch, and the Archmage were all present in the meeting room, as well as the Colonels and other higher-ranking individuals of the city.

Nobody dared to speak out of turn as they all feared the powerful Titled Knights and the Archmage, but even they were a bit apprehensive of the praetor.
