Bab 223: Lyle Makes a Move

The surrounding mana started converging at Lyle, a lot of it coming from the dead bodies inside the hideout while the rest was coming in from below the ground. Perhaps it was a mana vein, or it might be an array that the assassins had placed to help them evolve without causing a disturbance.

Lyle hadn't asked them, nor did he truly care about the reason, he knew that it was safe for him to undergo his Golden Knight transformation here, and that was all that mattered.

Thanks to what the assassins had done, nothing could be felt from outside the hideout, and Lyle could start his evolution with a clear head and without having to worry about a thing.

'I'm going to meet her again, aren't I?' Lyle thought as his eyes slowly closed while blood and darkness appeared around him.
