The nine assassins all looked at Lyle who seemingly sighed before sitting down on a chair.

"Are you the ones that have been killing people around the city?" Lyle asked the assassins who shook their heads.

"We had a tenth member, he was the one that started murdering people through the city." The girl that Lyle had followed said before exhaling deeply.

"It happened a couple of days ago, he … he started killing, of course, he hid it from us, not showing any change, nothing."

"It was when the news of the headquarters being destroyed reached us that he snapped, the façade he had pulled over his face was broken and we learned of what he was doing."

"As the only members of the branch, we have a responsibility to help the organization and the members that arrive, killing the people of the city is forbidden as it will cause chaos and could lead to us being found out."
