Laila felt an overwhelming sense of determination to correct her past mistakes. Her decision to push Dylan away and lie about her love weighed heavily on her conscience, but she also worried that he might refuse to forgive her.

- What should I do? Surely he despises me after the hurtful words I uttered. I wanted to offer him a chance at happiness, but I think it was a terrible mistake.

Upon her return to the present, she implored Sarra to help her reach Dylan. She hoped he would listen to her and understand her circumstances, but she never anticipated that he would ask her to sacrifice herself to save Katrina.

Staring in shock at the stone in his hand, she was rendered speechless. Sarra intervened, trying to reason with Dylan:

- What kind of nonsense is this, Dylan? She can't do that. They'll capture and kill her!"

Dylan fixed a stern gaze on Laila, declaring:

- If you can't do it, step aside and never show your face to me again.
