Bab 363: Escape Plan

Illska, Arthur, and Nishizka found themselves facing Paladin Wyclieff. Recognizing the formidable opponent before them, they acknowledged that victory could only come with sacrifice. Knowing Bishop Nicholas was not there, they realized that engaging in battle without a clear purpose would be futile. Consequently, they opted for retreat, understanding that a strategic withdrawal was their best action.

Amidst the aftermath of the battle, Archbishop Doumer surveyed the scene, his gaze falling upon the holy knight's corpse scattered. "You may retreat," he declared to the remaining holy knights.

Turning his attention to Nishizaka, he inquired, "Considering your name, can I assume you hail from Japan?" Having overheard her name in prior discussions, Doumer awaited her response. However, Nishizaka maintained a stoic silence.
