Somewhere POV
She was prepared for another vision, just another vision of her, of their's promised one, sent by their holy fire god.
What she didn't expect when she immersed her head into the flames was the vision, so different than all previous ones, so strange, and yet...
Such FIRE! Such FLAMES are being spat all around!
From the skies, from the ground, from the human's hands!
FIRE! FIRE EVERYWHERE!
And on who they were throwing the glorious amount of fires?
On the ENEMY!
She could see the immense horde, so enormous that even her eyes that reached the horizon of the vision weren't capable of seeing the end...
And yet, even seeing such army, an army of promised ENEMY, she didn't despair, for she could see how jars of fire, and not those green ones know as Wildfire, that even their lord doesn't like so much, but PURE yellow and red FLAMES!
She could see how with each advancement of the ENEMY, new fires were put on, creating...
Creating...
Creating a glorious WALL of FIRE...
And the most surprising, the most unexpected, was there wasn't any dragon that would breathe the fire...
All she saw were men wearing unfamiliar armors clearly done for the winter carrying a jar of some substance she had never heard of, a jar that once met with enemy exploded in brilliant red and yellow colors as another patch of the ENEMY's horde was engulfed in the fire...
But even then, ENEMY was stronger, so why ENEMY didn't it dare come close to killing these mortals, even if flames were an inconvenience to the enemy, just a fire couldn't kill it, so why?
Her question was answered as she looked at the arrows, swords, and spears all these men carried and held...
Obsidian...
Oh...
And as her head emerged from the flames of her lord, of her god, her fully pouty red lips wore a smile, as her red eyes shone in desire...
"Red priestess?" An acolyte asked as she looked at him.
"Prepare ship to the Seven Kingdoms, to the North." She ordered, and the acolyte obeyed without question, and she looked back to the flames, the desire in her grew even more as the last clue her god sent her told her where to go...
"A Flayed Man... My God's plans are sometimes truly mysterious even to me..." She said with a smile as she took the robe that lay on the chair near her, clothing herself back into her red dress and thus hiding her previously nude body...
Somewhere POV
Strange, strange...
That was what went around his mind as he read his little bird's reports...
Even if in far North, he had few little birds, alas, not as many as he wished for North was truly different than his normal playground that was South, the usual tactics that worked flawlessly in the South did not work in the North...
And even then, he understood that he was losing his little birds, these...
Program's, this little lordling is making, are making sure that sooner rather than later he would lose even the last little bird he had in there...
Maybe he should use Littlefinger's method and use whore's?
But then, if he read right, even whores wouldn't be saved from the little lordling actions, he could see that change was being made in the far North, alas, a change he could do nothing against, nor he particularly wished so, as nothing he saw was damaging his plans...
For now, he would just observe the little lordling, after all, his future King needs good subordinates, no?
And this little lordling could prove to be quite a good one...
For now, he would wait and see, as there were more pressing matters near him than some North's nobles heir's games...
Nor that the King who thought more with his little member than brain would even do anything about it, North was a very sensitive topic in the stag king's presence, a one even he himself needed to be careful of or feel the wrath of stag...
Somewhere POV
"Trade?" He asked, a little disbelievingly, and rightly so, what others wanted to trade with him?
Did they again think that by using him, they could get into the good graces of his brother?
How many more examples does he need to make?
"Yes, milord." His every useful and loyal knight said.
"Well?" He wasn't gritting his teeth, at least not yet, maybe once he heard what they wanted, then maybe he could again show how much displeased he was...
"Domeron Bolton, heir of the Bolton family of North, with permission from his father, Lord Roose Bolton, wishes to trade our obsidian for their food, a drink called vodka, wheat, and others, either daily necessities or food." His knight read, and the disbelief wasn't even on his mind, as he could hear it from his knight's voice, and when he looked, even a face, he wasn't alone in it, they wanted to trade these things for obsidian?
"What do they want to do with it?" He tried to think of a reason for such an unbelievable proposal, why do they want obsidian? That blasted material was all but a curse to him, useful as horse dung...
And they wanted it to trade for important resources such as food?!
Why?!
Did they think that by this trade, they could curry favor with him?!
His teeth gritted against each other as his mind showed one bad implication after another bad and suspicious plot...
"That... It wasn't said in there... But..." his knight's word stopped, and he grounded his teeth as he looked at him.
"Well, get out with it!" His mood worsens with each second...
"Couldn't we try to trade with them, milord? Even if this was some badly thought idea of getting into your good graces, they still wish to trade something we don't have use for, for something we need..." His knight said, and he knew he spoke the truth...
And that was worst, he knew he spoke the truth, and that made him even angrier, how North, a place that was said not to be able to cultivate their own lands as the rest of the South, could have so plenty of food that they would trade it to outside, for something as meaningless as obsidian?!
"Make sufficient trade proposal, make SURE to do it so that we do not owe them nothing, and make sure to milk them of everything." He would make sure they would regret this, making fun of him, trading food for obsidian!
As if he would believe such stupidity!
Somewhere POV
Oh? That sounds interesting...
"Well, brother? What do you make of this?" He asked with a grin.
"What I make of this is that you went behind my back and tried to sabotage a peaceful proposal, something I'm glad for, utterly failed." Oww, well, when he said it like that, but this was North they spoke about!
"And what? So they want to use us, that is clear as if I believe a child of seven-name-days could come up with this." He said with a grunt, but the smile still on his face, this time his eyes on his brother...
"...I wouldn't be sure if he was truly normal..." What?
"There were rumors, well, just rumors in specific circles, about a boy who doesn't behave as a boy, nothing sure, rumors are still rumors, but for these rumors to travel so outside of the North, and then these new plows, and techniques, these new inventions coming from the same place as the rumors..." Well, maybe he was hasty, but it was still a North Stark they were speaking about.
"So what? Do you really accept that, even knowing it isn't normal?" He asked as his brother finally looked at him.
"And from then, dear brother, did you ever care about something not being normal?" Oh, he got him there, as he grinned...
"Well, when you said it like that..." He grinned as his brother sighed.
"But yes, I do plan to accept the proposal, with few changes, mind you, but if this technique truly works as the boy says..." He didn't need to say it, more coin meant more gold, more gold meant more soldiers, and more soldiers meant that their revenge would be more than secured.
"Well, then it seems I need to make plans to ward off any possible assassination we would lure with this, Myrish does not like when someone meddles into their trade." Oh, how he was all fired up on this.
"No, Hotah will take care of that, did you forget where you should go?" Right...
He frowned, but then, it was clear that his brother wanted to make sure THEY lived, even if they didn't know where exactly, and his reputation would help cover his searching, making all believe that he just went to whores in there, which, he would, but after he found these two kids...
