Bab 247: Masterminds

From the outside, a man was standing not far away as he watched what was happening inside the manor. A grin blossomed in his face when he saw how panicked they were and the satisfaction he felt in knowing that the territory would eventually fall into his hands was enough to give him the feeling of ecstasy. Because of the unexpected arrival of the Gineharts, he needed to hasten his plans and that he did when they were busy dealing with those useless malevolent spirits they let loose.

"Are we going to finally kill that duke?" a whisper was carried in the air and reached the man's ears.

"Of course, we are, we went to so much trouble just to distract them and while they are gone, we can do whatever we want!" Enrick answered. This answer was then followed by his loud laugh which was followed by several more laughs from behind.
