Bab 181: The magus shows his powers

This time the magus showed a grimace. He had prepared that magic for a long time to make sure that Duke Ulysses won't get in his way in the future and yet it failed. First, he was forced to activate that magic and now it didn't work. He gave his disciple a glare.

"This is a piece of advice, fiddling with that ancient magic that is left behind is not wise. I am speaking from my experience, so you should be more careful in the future." Cygnus stood up and walked up towards the man. "If you want to use them, then be ready for the consequences."

The magus closed his eyes and when he opened them, he was overflowing with power. Cygnus was pushed back and hit the wall hard. He coughed and held his chest as he slowly stood up.
