Bab 4: Principal

In the Zeka Country, the country was governed and supervised by one of the Ancient Families – the Leo family. The capital city of Zeka - Dreka was known for its high school.

The Zeka high school was where all the students who excelled in academics studied and were given the chance to be taught by the awakeners. In addition, students who had a higher chance to be an awakener or awakened at such a young age were given resources and nurtured by the school.

On the surface, it appeared that the owner of the Zeka High school was the Leo Family. However, only a handful of people, including the Leo Family, were aware of the honorable person behind the High school.

That honorable person was the Zeka High school Principal and was currently sitting on his disk in his personal room. His knee constantly moved up and down, and feel anxious and impatient. In front of him was a neat modern table with a flower on the pot sitting on the edge. While a countless number of papers occupied the middle.

At the edge north side of the table sat a three-sided edge object, named "PRINCIPAL" carved in the middle. Near him was a rectangular object, the size could be held by a hand. A cell phone and its upper part were a little button placed, a small circle radiated light, and a square image appeared in front of him.

A cellphone that could generate a hologram… Even if people in modern times were told that a cell phone like that existed, it might be plausible, but it was still not produced in that Era. However, the cellphone in front of the man who was the Zeka high school principal owned such a type of cellphone.

The Principal gaze was directly on the hologram, which contained a huge wall of text and images. The quality of the image and walls of text was not high, but what matters it could be read and understood.

"At the border side at the city of Dreka. A Huge dimensional portal appeared at night, creating a catastrophe in the area. It was reported that it was creating havoc, and a horde of monsters that appeared was currently taken down by the awakeners. But the battle was one-sided with the soldiers outclassed by the Dimensional monster. The government had not yet made a report regarding what Grade is the new dimensional portal.

However, if it is to compare from the past Dimension portal, it is assumed that it can rival a Catastrophe level of Dimensional portal, which is an S-Grade Dimensional Portal!"

The huge title of Breaking News was bold, and the font size was huge. Below was a wall of text, which was combined with images. The position and the altitude of the images appeared to be captured by a drone.

The Principal's eyes were currently reading the report, and it did not long before he read the final text.

"The number of casualties is yet to be determined, neither the worth of damage it destroyed. The Government concealed all the information on going inside the dimensional portal, and a huge road black with numerous soldiers is seen guarding the civilians against entering the zone."

The last image of numerous soldiers with stern expressions facing the myriads of civilians who were quenching their curiosity. Military trucks and helicopters floated above the zone and tried to understand the situation, barring the surrounding Dimensional zone.

The Principal, Frank, placed his finger on the screen of the cell phone, and the hologram disappeared. The Principal was anxious and was getting more impatient as time passed by. It did not long before hurried footsteps echoed outside the door, and Franks' eyes lit up before gazing at the door with anticipation.

Creak!

The door opened, and an early middle-aged man made his appearance inside the principal's office. Frank hastily stood up and did not wait for the assistant to close the door before he arrived in front of him.

With the acceleration, he performed, as if a single step of him, the space became smaller, and he arrived in front of the assistant in the blink of an eye.

The assistant did not mind, for he knew what types of Path the principal awakened. The Path of speed! With the stage the Principal reached, it was not surprising that he could traverse a hundred meters in a split second.

The assistant turned and faced Frank with a natural expression, like how the assistant should act in front of their Master. Frank composed himself and fixed his necktie before he said to his assistant with a natural expression, "Report!"

The assistant nodded his head and took a step back to gain distance between them. He opened his mouth and reported in a professional manner.

"According to the surveillance that I gathered. The time Draven entered the new dimensional zone was ten minutes before the emergence of the dimensional reported.

Given the time it takes for a particular person to report the sudden emergence. It was calculated that the time Draven entered the zone was the exact time the new dimensional portal appeared!"

Frank's heartbeat became rapid akin to a myriad of people hitting the bass drum with the same movement and rhythm. Frank's mind became blank, as his face painted with aghast. Frank's body moved before he could decide, and his hand clutched the door to open it.

However, since the assistant blocked the exit, the space was small for his body to proceed. He turned his head, gazed at his assistance with a domineering order, and did not expect any answers.

"Moved, Nicholas!"

However, Nicholas did not move and persisted to block Frank from passing the door.

"I'm afraid that I can't, Sir!" Nicholas replied with a solemn expression. "I'm sure you know how dangerous the catastrophe-level dimensional portal is. I'm afraid with only you. You are no match to the boss inside." He encouraged Frank.

However, Frank already made up his mind, and discouraging him to go against his decision was futile. Hence, Frank ignored him, and his body disappeared and stood outside the door before Nicholas could react. He did not even turn his head but dashed right through outside the building, and it did not take long for him to reach outside the high school gate.

Sigh!

Nicholas could only sigh in response and felt helpless by his sir behavior.

Then suddenly, the concern and worried expression he expressed to his master vanished. It was replaced by a mocking smile, as he reached out of his white gloves to nudge it.

"Finally alone in this room!" He smiled like he was over the moon.

He walked with a leisurely step and closed the door with a light tap. He smiled once again before he performed his investigation to find something he only knew.
