"Enough talk about the giant fire breathing chickens." Dax said, trying to get back on topic. "Are you both ready to race?"

"Oh yeah!" Fey replied. "I think it will be a ton of fun."

"You're just hoping to run into a chicken…" Elle said with a sigh.

"No, just can't wait to beat you." Fey said confidently. "I might love to disappoint my mother every chance I get, but I love to win things as well. It honestly makes my life a lot harder than it should be. Hard to find a balance between victory and disappointment."

"I have a feeling I am part of that equation." Dax said with a sigh.

"Of course you are Daxy!" Fey replied. "You are a victory because you are wonderful and kind and the Magi King. You are also a huge disappointment to my mother, because not only are you in a lower social standing, but you are even in class F. I couldn't have asked for a better boyfriend to fit my personality."
