Bab 52: Operation Drakie Spy Part 1

Fey and Dax walked back to Dax's house. They entered the house and found Helen sitting in the living room.

"Oh, Dax." She said as she saw them enter. "You are home and you brought Fey with you."

"Is it true that you have cooked every day?" Fey said.

"Yes, why is that important?" Helen asked.

"Come with us." Fey said. "I am giving you a night off."

"Where is dad?" Dax asked.

"He isn't home yet." Helen said. "I am starting to worry."

"Then more of a reason to go out to eat." Fey said. "Get your mind off things and enjoy life a little."

"No." Helen said. "I am too worried about my husband. I want to be here when he gets back. If you all are hungry, I can whip something up for you."

"I came here to give you the night off, not cause you more work." Fey said.

"It really isn't any trouble for me at all." Helen said. "I enjoy cooking."

The phone next to Helen on the couch began to ring. She picked it up and answered it.
