Bab 164: End Up As Mates

Prince Rex refused to go and meet the king that night, even after some hours, the same maid came and he ignored her.

Since it was still midnight, Prince Rex planned to meet the king in the daylight. He knew the king would be annoyed and for once in his lifetime, he wanted to try and be in command of his own life.

When he was much younger, King Griffin had called Prince Rex and sat him down saying, "The first day you gain your power, come to me almost immediately."

"Why do you say so, father?"

"Rex, that is because there are some rituals that would be performed by the priest."

Young prince Rex had tried asking what the ritual was for, however, the king had waved off his question like it was unnecessary but as Prince Rex grew older and became wiser, he found out that the ritual was meant to suppress his power.
