Hazel was caught unaware by his words and his hold on her wrist, though she knew what he meant by whatever he just said, she asked, "I don't know what you mean." And then added, "And let me go."
Lucifel stared at her for some seconds, silence balancing between the both of them as their breath only laced the air surrounding them.
Cutting the silence again, Hazel slowly pulled her wrist away from him while she still uncomfortably knelt on the bed. But as he kept resisting and instead looking at her like he was frozen, Hazel exerted a small energy out of her to push herself away from him.
Unfortunately, she ended up clashing her chest to his' since he pulled her to himself retaliating. "You are a good pretender despite you being sick and I accord you for that," he muttered right beside her ear.
