He knew that she was sober, it was the same reason she was behaving like this. "I think wolf boy has forgiven you," he said. "He truly has, you don't need to beat yourself to it."

Hazel, with her heavy eyes, unable to open up wildly, looked up at him and then sniffed, "You..."

"Me?"

"You aren't wolf boy. How would you know he has forgiven me? I was supposed to help him. He looked like he trusted me but then, I...I did betray him. I deserve to die."

Lucifel had nothing to say because the voice and the manner in which she looked was enough to keep his mouth shut because she looked really annoyed as if she was lied to and seemed to want to tackle him right to the spot.

Hazel's eyes fell to the bed and all of a sudden, the young woman came in with a tray that had a plate filled with rice, stew, and fish followed by the middle-aged woman.
