On seeing this, Hazel immediately pushed the body away from her and ran behind the man who had just helped her.

Since it was Ethan, she knew he was there to help her.

"My Lord!" The remaining guard uttered as he saw what just happened.

Ethan looked at him and then uttered, "If you want me to spare your life, run away from here and don't look back."

"But..."

Ethan, shocking Hazel, immediately charged his sword against the guard and he fell straight to the floor.

"Let's go, Hazel," he said as he held Hazel by her wrist.

Hazel, on the other hand, kept counting how many alive men she had seen dead right in front of her. This was beginning to terrify her.

It was the reason she was always kept in the door and off the martial hall when the men underwent training then.

Her family knew she had an interest in martial arts but then they knew that at the same time, she was terrified of blood.
