Bab 204: 204 – New Opponents

"How long are you going to do this, Kaine?" Fergus makes a sound like a growl.

"I told you, shut up." Kayla scratched her hair in frustration.

Kaine tilted his head, and finally, the glass case door opened. He then ran outside in an instant.

"Snap me into that armor, now!" Fergus gave the order.

Kayla hurriedly opened the face of the armor, then put Fergus' skull in there.

"I need time, Kaine!" Fergus shouted as Kayla closed the armor lid. "Hold them from getting here!"

Even without being ordered, Kaine would have done that. He is already outside, look around to see who's coming. The flying sound is gone.

The vampire jumped to the side, avoiding a succubus about to claw him. Another succubus then came and grazed Kaine's arm with her wings.

Just as Kaine was about to counterattack, the third succubus grabbed his body, then threw him hard against the cave wall.
