Bab 22: Chapter 22: Training Lessons

The few days following Chase’s abduction and Morgan’s gallant rescue were spent comfortably cooped up in the manor. Morgan had returned from the infirmary early the next morning, stumbled to Chase’s room, and told him he had the next few weeks off until he himself was better and could rest easy.

Chase hadn't argued, staying home sounded perfect, besides, he was more worried about Morgan than any tasks he could've been assigned. He’d watched Morgan amble away towards his room a bit before getting up to assist him the rest of the way.

Chase insisted on Morgan taking things easy, his alpha duties could wait and he was certain the pack would understand. He made sure Morgan took his advice, Chase took care of the cooking and helped change Morgan’s bandages while he insisted Morgan stay in bed for a few days.
