Bab 175: TARNISHING HER NAME II

Eli's phone buzzed and he didn't hesitate to check on it in case it was an emergency. Seeing it was Cheska's message, he was even more convinced that the matter must be serious. 

"People are tarnishing her name. Do something about it." 

Eli frowned at the message that he received from her. [Who is she talking about?] He thought while typing his response. Not a minute later, Cheska responded with one word – girlfriend. He was even more confused now. [What did she do that make people say something bad about her?] 

Amidst the confusion, Eli looked up to see Belle's reaction. She seemed fine and was chatting happily with the kids. Contrary to her, Lenalee who was standing not far from them was biting her fingernails while scrolling her phone. Sometimes, she would also steal a glance from Belle. 

"Lea," Eli called out which startled his niece. "Can you go with me and get some snacks?"
