Bab 280: Marx's Surprise For Her

After Marx dressed the wounds on Dave's palm, Amaya realized how off-tangent their conversations had become. She gazed at Dave with a complicated look. 

Remembering the first time they met at the zoo, Amaya could not imagine that Dave would have such a tragic past. Who would have thought that his family had an entanglement with the King of Ra-iya?

Amaya suddenly remembered that she needed to go check on Ren. 

"I'm going back to the secret garden." Amaya stood and prepared to leave.

Marx closed his laptop and walked with her to the door. 

Dave of course would not want to be left behind.

When they reached the brick wall where they had entered earlier, Dave tapped on the wall just like Marx did earlier.

Nothing happened.

Dave: "..."

"What do you think are you doing? Do you think this is an ordinary door that would open when you knock on it?" Marx chuckled.

Dave scratched his head. Amays smiled at Dave's comical action.
