Bab 110: The chase

Caleb and Carlos raced out into the Belle's mansion's corridors, their movements in sync showing how compatible they were, working together. They must have done this more than once, Chasing down a common enemy. The atmosphere within the once opulent mansion was now marred by chaos and despair. Lifeless bodies lay scattered, remnants of the violent clash that had taken place. But their primary focus was finding Don Belle Pitcher, the woman responsible for Elle's suffering.

"Let's check the back of the mansion. There is no way the bitch would have gotten far. Take the left while I take the right." Caleb's voice cut through the tension, outlining their plan of attack. His words were laced with anger and a thirst for justice.

"Alright." Carlos nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation. Splitting up, they embarked on their individual missions, each determined to corner Don Belle Pitcher.
