Bab 96: Leave it all to me!
"Kabuto use aqua jet! Charmeleon follows up with metal claw!!"
I commanded, pointing directly at the Gyarados,
and the two of them nodded.
Charmeleon charged forward, and Kabuto concealed himself in a body of water charging at the Gyarados.
The Gyarados took the hit from Kabuto not receiving much damage,
"You fool! Water attacks aren't going to work!" Giovanni laughs at my blunder but I ignore him, turning to both Kenzo and Chloe with the next attack.
Chloe smiled and got her Toxel ready,
"Toxel substitute."
Toxel switched places with Kabuto clinging to the head of the gyrados
"What kind of substitute is this-" Giovanni muttered
"Gyardos shake that thing off!!"
Gyarados started to shake its head but Toxel wasn't budging.
"Now use! Spark!!"
Toxel clenched down on Gyardos's head, giving it the strongest shock it could,
"Oshawott!" Kenzo decided to jump in,
"Use Aquajet!!" Oshawott took a running start before blasting off in a gush of water straight for Gyardos.
"Now use razor shell!"
Oshawott took its shell off its chest, turning it into a blade as he flew close to Gyarados.
"Gyarados swat that thing down!!"
"Don't forget about me," I smiled as Charmeleon jumped in the air, releasing his attack on the tail Gyarados was about to use.
Gyarados roared in pain, lowering its tail and going for a hyperbeam out of anger.
"What are you doing!? I didn't tell you to do that!" Giovanni shouted at the Gyarados but he wasn't listening.
"kabuto! Stone edge!!"
Kabuto raised rocks from the rocks left behind by the chaos, sending them to the Gyarados.
Two minutes left.
Gyarados received the blow but still came out practically unscathed his attack was stopped but there was nothing else we could've done.
"Gyarados,! Use hydro pump!" The Gyarados aimed their attack directly at me and Charmeleon.
"Charmeleon move!" I commanded, but it was too late the attack was already fired.
"Toxel, quickly protect!" Toxel jumped in the way of us, protecting us from the blast, but the force was enough to push us into the wall.
I could barely keep consciousness through it all.
"Hardly surprising, you're nothing but kids, after all." Giovanni chuckled as he walked forward.
"Kids with unevolved Pokemon and powers,"
"Just because you have something others don't doesn't mean it's always an advantage,"
'Come on...' I thought to myself as he spoke.
'Get up..please-'
Slowly I managed to get up from the ground,
My head was bleeding slightly from the attack, but it was nothing compared to my past injuries.
"Ah, a determined one I see," Giovanni looked at his Gyarados once more.
"Gyarados use, hydro pump!!" Giovanni shouted out, pointing directly at me,
"Toxel use Substitute!!" Chloe shouted,
Toxel created a doll that redirected the attack, blasting it back,
"Not using protect again?"
"You're no fun," Giovanni mocked, walking closer toward us,
Chloe and Kenzo stood their ground as both I and Charmeleon stood up.
"You sicken me," I muttered as I struggled to keep on my feet,
I stumbled and wobbled as I walked still dizzy and a bit shaken by the attack but I pushed on,
"Charmeleon,"
One minute left.
"Use metal claw again!!" I mustered up the strength to shout at the top of my lungs,
Charmeleon wasted no time heading in for the attack,
"Oshawott, help him! Use razor shell."
"Toxel you know what to do,"
Charmeleon clawed into Gyarados's scales and so did Oshawott,
allowing Toxel to switch in his place provide a shock once more with the shell as a conductor,
The Gyarados fell to the ground and fainted,
Giovanni sighed before returning the Pokemon,
"Well done, let's see you try you're luck against a more mobile Pokemon," Giovanni smiled,
"Crap.." I muttered, my blood dropping to the floor as I tried to stay conscious.
Our Pokemon were beaten pretty badly, even if they weren't hit by any attacks they're pretty much worn out.
And now you're telling me, we have to face an even stronger Pokemon?
"Go, Krokodile!"
Krokodile popped out of its pokeball, ready for a battle,
I started on ready to fight it,
Chloe and Kenzo got into positions too ready to continue whatever it took,
"Whatever it takes..."
"W-aWha a"
"EveR IT What_ EvR-".
.......
"Whatever it takes..."
Before I knew it, I was facing the ground, on my knees crying, begging for mercy, I couldn't do anything...
Chloe and Kenzo were passed out and about to die,
And I couldn't stay conscious much longer, blood dripped from my forehead my hands shook my breathing got worse,
"Please..."
As I lifted my head Giovanni forced it back to the ground blood seeped from my head as I struggled to raise it again but his foot stopped me from doing so,
"If you want your friends to live, beg for it, be my guiny pig!" His smile grew the more and more I groveled,
"Please, spare them!" Tears ran down my face as I pleaded.
"Please... I don't want them to die again,"
"I don't,"
Giovanni took his foot off my head and looked down at me, his face, one of disgust and hatred for me,
"I'm sorry Ayuna, I'm just not convinced,"
Times up,
"PYAAAAAAHHH!!!"
Reshiram's screech broke the windows of the building making the glass fly across the room like stray bullets, both me and Giovanni looked outside to see what was going on and saw Kyurem fighting Reshiram,
"Get you're friends and run kid!" Kyurem commanded,
"Kyurem! So there was a third!" Giovanni said in excitement.
While he was distracted I made a run for it, grabbing my friends, and returning all our Pokemon.
"Don't worry guys,"
"I'll get you out of here!"
