Bab 220: Chapter 220

A familiar smell woke up Ramiel it was the smell of blood, as he was laying on a wooden floor, while a black furry wolf was beside him, the moving motion made Ramiel slowly sit upright and saw he was inside the battle wagon and he was the wounded six staff personnel, they were conscious but was still weak from the wound they receive,

Ramiel was able to recover from the battle and ask Alpha how long he has been asleep, Alpha mention that he was resting for an entire day and they were still travelling, the six wounded were still in pain and some of their wounds were now infected and their supplies were destroyed and their only hope was to react a village to obtain a stronger medicine or somebody will once again die before the sun sets,

Cynrad Brunaulf was walking behind the guild battle wagon and was able to see Ramiel awake on the curtain opening of the wagon. Ramiel's eyes were wide open, scanning the surroundings with a mix of sadness and Cynrad opened the wagon curtain and asked the wagon driver to stop, but he insisted stopping now would surely lessen the wounded's chance of surviving. Cynrad insisted and mentioned the King of Arcane was awake.

Ramiel no longer hides his identity, believing they already understand his reason for doing so. He wanted to express his concern, but the remaining guild volunteers kneeled to greet him and told him, they didn't have the right to question the king of another empire; they were honoured and asked for a certain amount of understanding as they had to move him inside the only intact and functioning wagon with the wounded. Ramiel stared at him and said, I don't see any wounded on this wagon; I only see a comrade in pain.

He was standing inside the wagon as he cast "Arcane Full Divine Healing." A bright light engulfed the wagon, and all six severely wounded were now fully healed. As they all saw this, they were healed. Ramiel climbed down the wagon and asked the remaining guild volunteers about what happened, blaming himself for not anticipating the trap and not being able to save them all.

The remaining guild volunteers explained that they were ambushed by the Warlord Tharkeroth Dallmethad clan, making it difficult for Ramiel to anticipate the trap. Despite blaming himself, Ramiel realized that he couldn't have predicted the ambush due to the cunning tactics employed by Warlord Tharkeroth Dallmethad's clan. and realized that it was a collective responsibility to ensure the safety of everyone in the guild.

They acknowledged that blaming Ramiel alone was unfair, as the entire guild should have been more vigilant and prepared for such unexpected attacks. He vowed to work together with his fellow volunteers to strengthen their defences and devise strategies to outsmart their adversaries in the future.

Mage Kessia. Ramiel approached with a blind left eye; Cynrad lost his right hand; and some were walking with broken arms and fractured rib bones, severed arm limbs from the brutal battle they had just endured. Despite their injuries, their determination to protect the guild remained unwavering.

Ramiel felt a renewed sense of responsibility to heal his fellow volunteers, ensuring that they were prepared for any future threats that may come their way. Even if they were sad and in pain, they were grateful to be alive.

They understood that their injuries were a testament to the dangers they faced and the sacrifices they made to protect their guild. With unwavering determination, they pledged to support one another in their recovery and continue fighting for the safety of their guild and its members.

But Ramiel was still adamant about healing all of them,

"Mystic Divine Gift of Healing."

With a wave of his hand, Ramiel channelled his immense power, enveloping his comrades in a soothing aura of healing energy. As their wounds began to mend severed body parts started regenerating, and their strength returned, they marvelled at Ramiel's unwavering dedication to their well-being. It was clear that his selflessness knew no bounds, and they were grateful to personally encounter and be a recipient of his healing power,

which seemed to defy all known limitations. Ramiel's healing abilities were not only physical but also extended to their emotional and spiritual well-being. In his presence, they felt a sense of peace and renewal, as if a weight had been lifted from their shoulders. It was a testament to the true extent of Ramiel's mystical gift and the profound impact it had on those around him.

As they saw the severed body parts regenerating, lost eyesight returning, and broken bones mending, they now witnessed why the name of the Black Arch mage became famous and revered throughout the land. Ramiel's healing powers were unlike anything they had ever seen before, defying all logical explanations and leaving even the most sceptical individuals in awe and wonder.

The sheer magnitude of Ramiel's abilities was overwhelming, causing even the staunchest disbelievers to question their understanding of the natural world. It was as if he possessed a connection to a higher realm, a source of divine energy that flowed through him and manifested in miraculous healing.

The power to destroy and to heal flowed inside his body in equal measure, creating a paradoxical existence that both intrigued and frightened those who witnessed it. Ramiel's mere presence seemed to radiate otherworldly energy, leaving people with a sense of both amazement and trepidation as they contemplated the depths of his extraordinary abilities.

Ramiels connection with the collective was still weak. Alpha reminded him that this is Dallmethad territory, and knowing the way they think, there is a chance they are using powerful artefacts that can obstruct his conscious link with this so-called collective, making it difficult for him to establish a strong connection.

Alpha suggests that Ramiel should consider finding a way to neutralize or counteract these powerful artefacts to strengthen his connection with the collective. Additionally, Alpha advises Ramiel to gather more information about Dallmethad's tactics and strategies, as understanding their mindset could provide valuable insights into overcoming the obstacles they pose.

Ramiel was sitting by himself with Alpha, while the rest were with him, respecting his request to have a certain time on his own to contemplate certain matters and reflect on his recent encounters with Dallmethad's tactics, he wanted to visit his loved ones and just open a transfer gate and be within even before they would notice but doing this will be risky as it could potentially alert Dallmethad to his whereabouts.

Additionally, Ramiel knew that hastily opening a transfer gate without proper preparation could lead to unforeseen consequences or even endanger his loved ones. and doing this will ruin his reputation, the fact they already knew who he was but respected his wishes to retain the camaraderie. among each other as fellow hunters and guild members, the look in their eyes signifies his secret was safe,

As his mind strolled through the peaceful surroundings, and could not believe this place filled with danger could also hold a secret beauty within its silence, while the guild member set camp as they salvage the remaining supplies they were able to save, Ramiel couldn't help but feel a sense of tranquillity washing over him, allowing his thoughts to flow freely. He knew that this time alone would enable him to delve deeper into his thoughts and emotions, ultimately aiding him in finding clarity and focus,

Seeing how his teammates were tired from a lack of proper food, he thought of hunting for some fresh game to provide them with a nourishing meal. As he strategized his hunting plan, Ramiel couldn't help but appreciate the symbiotic relationship between nature and his survival instincts, realizing that in this serene environment, he could find both solace and sustenance for his comrades.

Alpha agrees to his plan and starts to use her wide detection skill to locate some edible monsters in the vicinity. Ramiel, armed with his remaining weapon, and his trusty chain, stealthily moved through the upper terrain of the canyon wall that was about 20 meters high,

his senses heightened by the adrenaline coursing through his veins. As he spotted a herd of 2-meter-tall armoured deer grazing peacefully in a clearing, he knew that their succulent meat would not only replenish their energy but also strengthen their bond as a team. ,

in a matter of moments Ramiel charged at the biggest while Alpha already claimed its target, the armoured deer fought bravely but in 2 minutes it fell lifeless as Ramiel thank the land for giving them nourishment,

it was about 1900 kilos of scrumptious, mouth-watering meat, enough to feed a small village, Ramiel carried it down and placed it on a large slab of rock, Cynrad saw the huge creature as Ramiel asked if he could prepare the meat for cooking. Everybody that was sitting around the fireplace roared with joy as they could finally eat some quality meat,

Cynrad eagerly agreed to prepare the meat, showcasing his culinary skills as he expertly began to butcher the armoured deer. he carefully examined the massive carcass, admiring its impressive size and unique features. He swiftly started to separate the meat into various cuts, ensuring that each piece would be cooked to perfection. T

Cynrad's precision and finesse were evident as he skillfully removed the tough hide, revealing the tender and succulent meat underneath. The sound of his knife slicing through the flesh echoed through the clearing, creating an atmosphere of excitement and hunger as he used the metal spears they had and carefully added the remaining spices they managed to save,

Some hunters, mages, and staff personnel started to make a bigger fire that was evenly spread out and roast the meat, cooking it slowly. The tantalizing aroma of the seasoned meat filled the air, making everyone's mouths water in anticipation of the feast to come. causing everyone's stomachs to growl in anticipation. The crackling sound of the fire intensified, as the flames danced and licked at the meat, releasing its savoury aroma into the night. The hunters and mages exchanged knowing glances, their mouths watering uncontrollably as they eagerly awaited the moment when they could finally savour the mouthwatering feast.

Ramiel wasn't about to just leave the area unprotected, so he cast a wide barrier and asked the female Mafe Kessia to also place an illusion spell to hide them from hungry monsters that would roam within their area as they were still inside the canyon pathway. Ramiel knew that their delicious meal would attract not only hungry monsters but also other opportunistic creatures in the vicinity. He understood the importance of taking precautions to ensure their safety while enjoying their feast.

Once again, Ramiel offered his gratitude to Mage Kessia for her assistance in protecting their meal. He knew that her illusion spell would greatly increase their chances of going unnoticed by any potential threats. With their combined efforts, Ramiel felt confident that they could enjoy their feast without any interruptions or danger.

The rest of the hunters smiled and waved at Ramiel; he was seen as a hunter, not a powerful king, which made him smile even more. As the feast began, Ramiel couldn't help but feel a sense of camaraderie and unity once again among the hunters. They were all equal at this moment; bound together by their shared purpose, they gave a toast to their fallen comrades and raised their magically crafted wooden chalice filled with just magically cast water in a solemn yet celebratory gesture.

The atmosphere was filled with both sorrow and determination as they honoured the sacrifices made and vowed to continue the fight against the threats that plagued their world. Ramiel's heart swelled with pride, knowing that he was surrounded by a group of individuals who were not only skilled hunters but also loyal allies in their mission to protect their land.

Among the 25 guild members, hunters and mages, 13 remain alive, and among the 15 staff personnel, 6 survive, making this night one to remember, as they stood united in their shared purpose. Each member had their own unique story and background, but together they formed a bond that fueled their resolve.

Ramiel couldn't help but feel a surge of gratitude for the trust and camaraderie that flowed between them, knowing that it was this unity that would ultimately lead them to live another day. Because they knew the moment they exited the canyon passageway to the western land, they will face more danger that might lead them to their death,
