I loved it when a plan came together. Each moving part doing what was needed as a part of the whole. I was beginning to see the attraction of clockmaking. Particularly in terms of the old-fashioned mechanical ones with all the springs and gears.

My grandfather was a watchmaker, or so I was told. Fixing them as well as making them. One of the presidents, he never said which, came in and bought two of his best pocket watches. One for the morning and one for the evening. Scanning the selections while flanked by security.
