Bab 15: Did i really agree for a spar?
*yawn*
Next day, i woke up fresh.
I got off my bed and streched my body.
I used magic to clean myself and went out for a walk.
As i walked around, i felt nice.
Birds were chirping slowly in the morning sunlight. Many shops had opened and some were preparing to open the shops.
Children were running around and playing with each other.
I took in a deep breath in this pollution free air.
The town of Demi humans is much better. There is no discrimination, no violence, peaceful energies, and a calm environment.
But... It seems that i judged too early.
"Hahahaha!! Get out of the way if you don't want to be crushed!!"
These noble brats are really everywhere.
A carriage came straight rushing towards me. The driver of the carriage was a 40-yo elf and the voice that came just now was of the child that was sitting on his shoulders. The kid was almost 11-yo and wore a white noble dress. Anyone can tell that he is a spoiler noble kid in just a glance.
The carriage came towards me and was almost about to hit me, when a unusual thing happened. The carriage passed right through me. It was as if i was non-existent. Just a illusion. A deceptive impression of reality.
The carriage didn't even stop and drove away without any care. If this was earth, it would have been a case of hit and run.
I didn't focus much on that and continued to explore around.
I went near a shop and bought a traditional sweet of this town. It was just like lollipop in real world but a bit different. I also bought a nice-looking mask.
It was a full face mask and was split in two colours. The left side was completely black and right side was completely white. The only exception was that there were red eyes on both sides. I bought it because it gave a sense of dual personality and psychotic nature.
After that, I kept venturing endlessly until i heard a commotion.
A few ladies had circled around someone and were screaming. Their screams were not of anger or fear, but of.... Delightfulness?
I walked their and looked at the center of attention.
How well the fate plays is something really something I can't understand at this level. The one standing in the middle of this commotion was none other than Rio. The main character of this world.
Rio must have also ventured outside and somehow got caught in this uncomfortable situation due to his overflowing cuteness as a protagonist.
"Mí ladies, can thy please grant us some space?" I spoke with nobleness and the temperament of a gentleman.
All the ladies looked at me and...
*Boom*
They even forgot that Rio was there. Although i admit that Rio is quite cute for a child, but it's just cuteness.
How can a piece of dough compare to a cake?
It's a obvious victory. My handsomeness is something at a completely another level. Not trying to brag but even the system shows my charm as infinite.
When the ladies gave some space, i moved towards Rio and gave him a smile.
Seeing me helping him, Rio smiled back and thanked me.
Rio's cuteness would really be a heartache for those with child complex. Thank God i am one of them.
I walked Rio out of that situation and we both introduced ourselves. I was amused by how we both gave each other a false identity. Rio introduced himself as haruka, his previous life name, and I introduced myself as Jason, my previous life name. We both introduced ourselves as just normal citizens but in our hearts we both know that their is no way that other can be someone normal.
We both talked for a while and walked up the giant tree.
After a while he both were in front of a small door.
Rio knocked on the door and after some time, the gate was opened by a small orange fox girl, Latifa.
Rio hugged Latifa and invited me inside for breakfast. When we entered inside, Rio screamed out in horror. On the bed were lying four girls, unconscious. These girls were naturally, sara, orphia, alma and Uzuma. They didn't wake up after our small game yesterday.
"Latifa!! What happened to them?!?!" Rio asked panicking. He was genuinely worried about them after they became his friend.
"Nothin'. Dryas-sama just left them here last night." Latifa answered cutely.
Rio started to channel his spirit power through them in order to heal them. I didn't even injure them so much that they would need a treatment.
After some time of treatment, they slowly started to open their eyes.
"R... Rio?" Orphia slowly spoke up.
Rio didn't responded. He had exhausted himself and emptied all his spirit power.
They slowly opened their eyes and looked around. The first one to wake up was orphia. She looked around to see a tired Rio, a confused Latifa, and the handsome man whom she loose to yesterday.
Seeing this situation, she thought that I had fought with Rio and scared Latifa.
Orphia jumped towards me instantly to save her friends but tripped because her body was numb.
She was going to fall on her face but i held her and pulled her up, close to me.
A 14-yo girl, being held closely to a handsome creature of opposite gender in a awkward position. What do you think her reaction be?
Her face turned beet red and blush spread to the tips of her pointy ears. Her body started to tremble. Her eyes started to spin. At this moment, she even forgot that the person in front of her was once her enemy. Her puberty hormones started to kick in and she felt something wet between legs.
I noticed all of these as i was not a dense MC. I helped her stand on her legs and let go of her body.
"Hey, sorry for this... and yesterday." I said while looking away to hide the small redness on my face and scratched the back of my neck. Although i was not dense, i was still a virgin teenager. This reaction is not at all abnormal.
A few minutes later, as they all woke up, i explained myself, introduced myself, and apologized to them. After all the problems were cleared, i noticed that Rio was hesitating to say something.
"Umm, Rio? Do you want to say something?" I asked while wondering what was the thing he was hesitating to say.
"Umm, Carlos. Ca-Can y-you please spar with me." Rio said while bowing his head and stuttering a little.
Only now did i recalled that this Rio, under his cute appearance, is actually a battle junkie with a bit of masochist tendencies.
"O-Okay?" I said subconsciously.
I was still processing why did i even agree but the next thing i focused on was that we were now in open ground with Rio standing opposite to me. We both had wooden swords in our hands.
*Swoosh*
Rio jumped towards me with his sword at extreme speeds.
His wooden sword was inches away from my face, when...

Man, it really tiring. This hours of hard work.
It seems that i am slowly getting over my habits of procrastination.
I also tried placing a cliff-hanger.
