Bab 10: Amaterasu

A piercing roar echoed through the sky as the red dragon writhed in agony, engulfed by the ominous black flames descending from above.

The colossal flames devoured the dragons, their cries of pain growing weaker and weaker.

[Arrgghh! What kind of inferno is this? It burns hotter than anything I've ever felt!] Kamish, the fire-born dragon, struggled in the grip of the relentless flames, his scales blackening and his body weakening.

Boom! Boom!

One by one, the other four dragons succumbed to the relentless blaze, reduced to charred remains.

...

At the edge of the battlefield, the hunters stood in awe, their mouths agape at the spectacle unfolding before them. Sweat streamed down their faces as the intense heat radiating from the black flames made their armor scorching hot.

"What in the world is happening? I've never seen anything like this!"

"Even at this distance, the heat is unbearable. We need to move back!"

Thomas, a seasoned hunter, glanced at the towering inferno of black flames, his confidence waning even with his reinforcement.

"I don't know who that man is, but I want to steer clear of him. He's on a whole different level," he confided in Liu Zhigang, his comrade by his side.

...

Sasuke halted his advance, his gaze fixed upon the dying red dragon before him.

The black flames dissipated, leaving behind a charred and lifeless creature.

"I've heard that defeated monster bodies hold great value. Perhaps I can salvage something useful from this," Sasuke contemplated, eyeing the remnants of Amaterasu's destruction.

"But it wouldn't be ideal if the entire body continues to burn."

With a swift motion, Sasuke activated his Mangekyo Sharingan, focusing his attention on the lingering black flames.

In an instant, he invoked the power of his Inferno Style: Flame Control, extinguishing the flames and leaving behind the scorched remains of Kamish.

"The body is still intact," Sasuke noted, assessing the dragon's condition.

As he observed the dragon's breath, he realized its potential as a material for a new weapon.

"Hmm, I could make a formidable sword from this," he muttered, eyeing Kamish's open mouth and the impressive fangs within.

With Susanoo's hand, Sasuke firmly grasped the dragon's longest fang, sensing its dangerous aura.

"Now, let's see how it responds to chakra infusion," he said, channeling his chakra into the fang.

A resonating hum filled the air as the fang absorbed Sasuke's chakra, its aura growing sharper and more pronounced.

"Well, this was a fruitful battle," Sasuke concluded, pleased with the outcome.

"Now, I just need to find a skilled swordsmith," he pondered, aware of his unfamiliarity with this new world. However, his thoughts were interrupted by the sound of approaching helicopters and a strong gust of wind.

Sasuke turned his gaze toward the shrinking and disappearing giant gate in the sky.

"As expected, that must be the dungeon boss," he surmised, knowing that defeating the boss would close the gate.

A smirk formed on his lips. "Seems like my sword dilemma might be solved sooner than I thought."

Sasuke watched as a line of helicopters approached his location, their purpose becoming clear.

...

Meanwhile, at the headquarters of the Washington Hunter Bureau, David Brennon, the bureau's director, closely monitored the intense battle between the mysterious poncho-clad man and the red dragon.

"Have we been able to identify this individual?" Brennon inquired, his eyes fixed on the unfolding spectacle.

"We've reached out to various countries, but no one seems to have any information. However, some speculate that he might be Japanese-American," Michael Connor, his deputy, responded.

"We must recruit him to our cause. Such power must exist within our own borders," Brennon declared, determined to have Sasuke on their side.

"Agreed, sir. But what about Liu Zhigang and Siddharth Bachchan?" Connor questioned, concerned about their fellow hunters.

"They have their allegiances. Our priority is this man," Brennon stated, dismissing any thoughts of the other hunters.

The sound of the door creaking open interrupted their conversation.

"Sir, preparations for departure have been completed," an employee informed.

"Excellent work. Let's go and greet our guest," Brennon replied, wasting no time in leaving the headquarters.
