Yuqi asserted, "Cass, even if the house and car are in your name, I'm the one who made all the payments. You only made the initial one."
Cass remained indifferent, stating, "I don't care. Now walk up the stairs and bring me the two sets of keys for the house and the car."
Chen swallowed hard, sensing the trouble they were in. Yuqi looked at Cass, tears streaming down her face. "I'm begging you, Cass, please don't do this."
Cass responded, "I have other things to do, so go get me the keys or I'll call the police. I'm sure you wouldn't like the paparazzi filming you getting thrown out of my house."
Meeting his eyes, Yuqi only saw coldness. She decided to rent a hotel room for herself and Chen until they find an apartment, knowing she had enough money to survive the next few months. "I'll go pack up; then we'll leave."
As Yuqi left, Chen watched her go, grateful that at least she had money saved up. Turning to Cass, he noticed a smile on his face.
