Bab 153: Unsure

The black dragon wanted to find him and Bailong together for a very particular purpose. If he understood this, naturally Bailong did too. Neither of them talked about it but seeing as how the black dragon was urgently coming for them, trying to cut off Bailong’s vision, his work must not have been done.

Now that they were going back to save the people of Aliferous, Bailong wanted to have the upper hand on the situation unlike before.

“Your highness. We need to figure the distance that will allow you to transfer beasts out of the cave safely without the black dragon noticing.”

“I can only shift one beast or two fledgling at once. Since we cannot know how far the black dragon is, it is better to start sending them now.” His father said.

Sevir looked at the youthful faces fresh with their beast mark proudly showing, while their parents hurried to bundle them up for a journey. One common expression reigned the crowd- fear.
