Bab 207: I Don't Like Him

I, Billie Bob Taylor, had successfully convinced Benedito Goncalo Cruz Pereira to join me for my surfing lesson this morning. It had taken lots of blackmail, threatening then fake tears before he finally submitted. The man at times could be more stubborn than me. 

"What are you doing?" I kicked his bum as he knelt down on the sand holding his cross necklace as he prayed lowly in Portuguese. 

"I'm asking the Lord to save me against sharks," he glared at me before he continued his prayer. 

The man was absolutely crazy. It was the first time I saw him be scared of something that I found it quite humorous. "You shouldn't worry about it," I waved my hand dismissively with a grin, "I'll protect you."

"You'd probably laugh first," he rolled his eyes before he stood up from the sandy beach.
