Bab 40: Our Values

After almost an hour with Tim, Benedito and I made our way to the offices to meet the directors. I had met them multiple times but I had never really conducted business with them. For Dito this seemed to be his domain as his body visibly relaxed as we neared the offices. 

I did not know what about telling him about my injury had my heart beating so fast. Maybe it was because of the obvious frown he had on his face when Tim told him about the accident. I figured he would know that bull riding was not a safe sport. 

There was not one rider who had not been involved in an almost fatal accident and somehow managed to walk away from it. My whole body was crippled, by eighteen I had three teeth knocked out, I had broken my leg at twenty-one, I had broken my collar bone more times than I could count, my arm had been fractured at twenty-three and my hip at twenty-five.
