Warmth surrounded him as if he were in a hot spring, but that sensation vanished instantly. As soon as Davy opened his eyes, his surroundings changed. They even looked like the virtual space, with nothing but white space.
Was he already inside? He shifted his gaze around, a frown appearing on his face. This was different from what he had expected. As he looked around, there was nothing but silence, and he was the only one there.
The white space was endless, but when he tried to move forward, he found that he couldn't. He could only stay where he was.
What was going on? He stood there for a few minutes, staring at that white space as if he were an idiot. He was getting frustrated and bored, so he decided to shout finally. He found out, though, that he couldn't.
He wasn't making any sounds at all. Honestly, what the hell was this? He couldn't shout, and even worse, he was stuck where he was. So what was he supposed to do?
