It is said that a Goddess from another world came to Earth and punished them for their sins and created Portals that made Humanity collapse even nearing its extinction but that Goddess was benevolent enough and left us with a System to fend for ourselves so that we can survive which is why we have our current civilization now." Liao Xi finished with that and went to see if Mio's expression ever changed or not but when she stared at those eyes, she quickly hid away, it felt like she was staring at a void that was filled empty space.
"Teacher Mio? If may I ask, I found an article saying that the Goddess is one of the oldest Humans to live right now, there was some story that says she's from the first generation of Heroes. That is why she was dubbed with the title "Primordial Goddess of Death". Is what is written here actually true? Because after reading all of these last night, I stayed up very late trying to research if this was all true, but I can't seem to find any reliable information about it." Liao Xi asked decisively after all, such knowledge was precious because by learning it, they will be able to unveil the true secrets of the World that were hidden through the passage of time.
"Hmmm… I'm not going to say much because this information could start a war. But you are right on one thing, the oldest Human to live is that Goddess, but if you are thinking that she was the cause of all this, you are wrong. The person who is behind that is beyond that, beyond the Human Limitations. As for your question, you can choose to believe it, you can even disagree with me since there is no real evidence. But, let's start on our main topic now. We are getting farther away from our true objective which is for all of you to learn and grasp Magic Theory to a deeper meaning." Mio left them with a lingering question in their heart but what can they do? They are still students and are currently powerless in front of their teacher so what can they only do is put their faith and trust in her.
They are not going to lie, they found that learning Magic Theory is not as important as learning Battle Prowess, but after hearing Mio's lectures for about 10 minutes all of them changed their mind and begins to absorb themselves into the class.
"Magic Theory isn't just some nerdy shit that all of you thought so, it is actually even greater than what you can imagine because learning it will make one invincible. Because… there is a Magic Circle for everything, Magic and Physical Strengthening, Mana Boost, HP Regeneration, Attack, Speed Boost, and many more that you can think of. But in order for you to learn Magic Circles, you must first have a deep understanding of Mana and high concentration. So today… I want all of you to use the most basic Magic Circles, I will be the one to draw it on the board and you just need to activate it with your Mana." Mio said while she was already beings to draw a Magic Circle on the ground and everyone's eyes glittered in excitement as they couldn't wait to try it. And when she was finally done, she made them all fall in line and activate it.
"This is a Fire Magic Circle, it will basically combust into flames when Mana is circulated into it properly. And it doesn't simply react to how much Mana is put into it meaning it won't get any stronger even if you put half of your Mana in one go. You need to learn the runes that are set up in the Magic Circle in order for it to work. Also, the student who can make a Fire that is as big as this Circle which is approximately 1 meter will pass, and those students who failed to do so will fail, and will have to try again until they are able to pass it." Mio said as she turned to the side and let them try with the Support Class Mage then followed by the Heavy Damage, Versatile, Hybrid, and lastly Swordsman Class.
Out of everyone in the world, the one who needs to learn the Magic Theory the most is the Support Class Mages because they are one of the most important units in a Battle. That is why Mio let them be the ones to try first and the first student is going to be Nakamura Chitose who has a Light Element.
"We have a lot of time on our hands, if you wish you can study the Magic Circles construction. All of you can also do the same if you wish." Mio said as she sat back down in her chair and watched how all of them cooperated together to solve the Magic Circle which made her chuckle in response. When she said that, she already expected them to help each other out but it seems that there was one student who was left out and when she saw who it was, she was not surprised. It was Sana, the introverted Swordwomen.
"Why don't you join them, Sana? The more people you have to solve it, the faster it would be." Mio asked as she stood up and walked towards Sana.
"Teacher Mio must be joking… My Class focuses on Swords and I'm not confident in my Magic Skills either, so what makes you think that I can help them?" Sana said in a forced tone as she looks up to Mio who was looking at her with a strange glint on her eyes.
"Do you really think so? Then how about me, do you find me the same? My main Class is also a Swordsman but I'm still very proficient in Magic as you can see. Let me tell you this, it's not the Class that holds you back, it's yourself. So what if your Class mainly focuses on Swords, doe that mean you can't learn Magic as well? Of course not, you can still learn them to a certain degree, you just need to have the strength to do so, to challenge it yourself in order to improve yourself." Mio then left with those words as she sat back in her chair and watched Sana's moves from the corner of her eye. And what she saw didn't disappoint her, she saw Sana build her courage to walk up to the group of people and also begin to help in cracking the Magic Circle.
'Such a talented little kid, it's too bad that she lacks confidence.' Mio sighed as she closed her eyes and waited for them to be done.
