Bab 26: Apologizing
Mio was silently watching some videos on her laptop when she was suddenly hit by the sudden ray of light that made her frown before placing her laptop on a table she stood up and pulled the curtain down to block the sun ray that was irritating her. And just as she planned to continue watching, she remembered that as a teacher she needed to be at the Academy, Mio stopped herself and just closed her laptop down before taking another bath. The moon was ruined anyway because of the sunlight that bothered her earlier so there was more reason why she should just go back to the academy, she was more curious to see what kind of improvements her new Students would show once she started teaching them.
Since she also has an agreement with Solar, she would do it and silently take care of Aira's well-being, though she already knew that such a thing is useless now that she knows who her parents are. But of course, she is still going to take care of her as an aunt since that is her position after all, She still can't forget the day that she was forced to become the aunt of Aira when she was still a baby by Solar. She just agreed because she was annoyed by her every day.
"Hais… It's so early in the morning and I already have a headache…" Mio yawned as she knocked on the Principal's Office to see Aira She still needed to see if her schedule was done or not, because if it's still not done. She will just go home as there is nothing for her to do here anyway. But when she got no response, she frowned and this time knocked harder. Because now she knew who Aira was, she refrained from using her Mana to search inside of the room out of her privacy, but if she didn't know the person inside, she wouldn't care and just use her Mana to sense inside of the room even if it's the Principal of the Academy.
But when she got no answer again, she now was forced to use her Mana Sense if someone was inside, she still refused to go inside in case Aira was just too focused on doing her tasks that she didn't hear that someone was knocking on her door, also she might be wearing head/earphones which is possible in this times of the day. When she now has a vision of what is happening inside, Mio is shocked but soon chuckles as she gently opens the door to not make any further noise as she doesn't want to wake up the person inside.
"This little woman worked so hard that she stayed inside the Academy and worked overnight… I guess Solar's blood runs into her daughter, huh? They are both workaholics." Mio chuckled as she lightly walked closer to Aira who was sleeping on her desk with papers all around her table. Sighing lightly, Mio leaned in closer before gently carrying Alice's body in her arms and because of her Class, her movement was so nimble that the person she carried didn't even wake up. She then walks toward the Sofa of the room and places Alice so that she can have a better sleep, Of course, she didn't forget to give her a blanket and pillow for her to have a better sleep. Just as she was about to take her seat in front of the sofa, she stopped and wrote a letter and placed it on the table next to Aira before Mio finally took her leave to go to her Class. She thought that she might as well teach while she waited for Aira to wake up, her plans kept changing which irritated her a bit.
When Mio finally arrived at Class F's classroom, she saw Liao Xi who seemed to be waiting for someone at the door. She was confused at first since who could be Liao Xi waiting for? She knows that no other teacher other than her would be teaching, and she has already said to the whole class that she doesn't have a steady schedule so there was a chance that she is not going to teach them today and they would have to find a substitute teacher for her while she was out.
When Liao Xi finally noticed who was walking toward their room, she immediately ran toward her before stopping right in front of her.
"Teacher! I'm glad that you're here! Come inside now, the whole Class is waiting for your lesson!" Without waiting for Mio to respond, Liao Xi directly pulled her arm and headed straight for their classroom to Mio's shock. She would never expect something like this to happen so quickly, she didn't even have time time to comprehend what was happening when she was already in front of the room while everyone was silently waiting for her to start the Lesson.
"What happened to all of you? Just yesterday you were so against me teaching you, now you can't wait for me to teach all of you? Has all of you lost your mind or what?" Mio didn't do anything and just sat in her chair and waited for them to speak up. She can already tell how excited they are for her to start her lesson but when they heard her question they became down and started to feel guilty about what they did to her on the very first day they met.
"Well... We're sorry! We are! We didn't mean to be mean to you, teacher Mio. We were just sick and tired of hoping that another teacher would come and like us, all the other teachers that have become our homeroom teachers only had complaints to tell about us... and we became like this because of all of that. We don't want to repeat the same mistake we did, putting our trust in a teacher that will leave us as soon as they got tired of us." Fen Xiu walked in front and apologized in a loud voice and soon after, all of Class F began to apologize too.
"We're sorry, Teacher Mio!"
