Bab 8: Side Story 1 ¶ Mahiro's Favorite Food
Mahiro is currently in her room, studying while trying to remember what she learned in her previous life and in this life, being stuck as a baby made her forget some of her ordinary memories of her previous, including what she learned in her previous life younger years, though in her previous life she already forgot most of it, now she doesn't even remember some of her friends, only some that stick with her until her previous life married.
(Author: want me to change 'her previous life' to 'him' in future chapters? (Includes SS and MS (SS = Side Story, MS = Main Story)))
"Mahiro, I'm going to the grocery store, do you want anything?". Someone was asking Mahiro behind Mahiro's bedroom door, it was her Mother
Without hesitation, Mahiro asked her mother to buy her favorite food, "Mom, I want curry rice please!"
"Sure, do you want it with meat or just the veggies?"
"Only meat please!"
"No, you must be healthy when you grow up!"
"Okay, meat with veggies then!"
"Okay, I'll be right back, be sure to not let a stranger comes inside the house!"
"Of course!"
Mahiro heard the sound of a door opening, closing, and locking. Though she doesn't care and is focusing on her study of algebra.
"Why did they have to put algebra when I'm still 10? This doesn't make any sense!
At least I have the kids's brains of this world"
(Author: If you don't remember, kids in Mahiro's current world are smarter than normal, they can even make a complete sentence when they are four!)
Mahiro's studying and complaining continues until someone unlocked the door, "I'm home!"
Hearing her mother's voice, Mahiro stopped her activity and went out of her room, "Mom! Can you make curry rice? Please!! I'm hungry!", Mahiro asked a request to her mother
"Wait until dinner okay?", Mahiro's mother refused
"Please!"
"Instead, here eat some snacks,
I know that you are studying,
You can eat these while you are studying,
Don't eat too much!". The snacks Mahiro's mother give her are a pack of ice cream flavored or*o and a chocolate milk
(Author: I love ice cream flavored or*os, they taste like a sweet mint and maybe a bit of grape?)
"Yes ma'am, thank you, ma'am". Mahiro saluted as she runs off to her room with her snacks
"Don't eat too much she said... HEH", said Mahiro as she made a smug expression
"This person right here, is a black hole!", Mahiro stated
Even though Mahiro is an obedient child to her mother, she sometimes likes to do silly things
She opens the pack of or*os and sticks the straw into the carton of milk, she then continues her activity while eating and drinking the snacks her mother bought
*A few hours later...*
"Mahiro! The dinner is ready!". Hearing her mother's shout, Mahiro stop playing games on her computer and went to the dining room, which is sharing a room with the kitchen
"Where's my curry rice!", said Mahiro while she stretched her words like a certain icy superhero searching for his super suit
"Come on, sit on the chair", her mother spoke
Mahiro went to the dining table and sat on the chair, she then immediately scoop half a portion of rice and half a portion of meat and vegetable curry, even though she wanted to eat more but considering her body, she can't eat much more or else she needs to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, which is uncomfortable
Mahiro made a promise to herself, 'In the future when I get older, I'm going to eat curry rice as much as a big pot!'. She then eats her curry rice with determination and enjoyment
Warmth and happiness filled the air inside the dining room
