Bab 102: BLINDSIDED - PART 1

"Kane and I were slightly unsettled last night when you didn't return with Christopher. Do you want to share what happened?" Giselle sat next to Kane and reached across the carriage to take Rose's hand in hers.

"Chris told me to leave, and he no longer wants to see me. So, I returned to Dragonwood. I don't care to be around him anymore, either." Sadness filled her eyes, and Rose lowered her gaze.

Giselle knew Rose was lying about not wanting to be around Christopher.

"Can we change the subject?" Rose mumbled. She couldn't help but feel despair as she remembered watching her happiness vanish into the darkness last night with Christopher.

"Sure, Rose, anything you want."

Kane and Giselle looked at each other and knew last night's disagreement with Christopher deeply hurt Rose.
