Bab 95: DECIMATION - PART 2

NOTE:  I will be changing the way I post chapters. From here forward, you will get two chapters per night at 1K+ words each, which gives you 500 more words per night and will move the story a little faster. "It would be none of your business if I had an interest in the Duke. I have not exactly agreed to be yours, so why would it affect you? After all, I'm the enemy, Dante's daughter, and granddaughter to Lucifer Morningstar?"

"Did you really think we are compatible, Christopher? Why invest yourself in someone who is so unworthy in your eyes? Also, if I choose to sleep with the man, it would be my business."

Before Rose could stop, the angry words fell from her lips like acid, burning Christopher to his very soul. Rose regretted what she had said, and it was too late to take it back.
