Bab 207: After-fight aftercare
It didn't take long for everyone to regroup: the Leshies made sure of that. The moment Euryale retreated, dozens of little forest sprites rushed up to dance and play around everyone who had fought, whether it was what they wanted or not. Admittedly, by this point despite how she found the little plant creatures charming, even Dahlia couldn't help but want them to give her space as she carried Valentina's unconscious body through the thigh high water of the basin. Their only saving grace was that the leshies also highlighted the locations of everyone else.
Supporting her love with vines and then pulling the two of them forward, Dahlia was quick to reunite with the others but, frankly, out of everyone she and Valentina were by far the best off. Even upon arriving and not knowing what exactly had happened for the others, that much was made clear almost immediately.

I'm considering creating a discord and am looking for thoughts, opinions, and other various input. Personally, I believe I'd make a terrible discord mod as I can go days without wanting to socialise... buuuuuuut, recently I've been thinking that it would be nice to form a small community. Not only that, but in case there are any annoucements or anything like that in the future, I thought it would be good to have a reliable place to hear that instead of just relying on my author's notes and comments (still feel free to comment questions, this would just be another alternative).
Anyway, while I'll always be happy to get comments about the content of the chapter as well, please consider commenting if you have any thoughts on there being a discord. Especcially considering that those reading this are the ones who've gotten this far in the novel, you all are also the ones most invested in what I do so your opinions matter a lot!
