The day was just an ordinary one, more or less. The birds were singing and the sun was shining, though the summer heat remained comfortable rather than scorching. All in all, it was quite a pleasant day and with the recent war against the insurrectionists done and the worst of those complications out of the way, all Priya Phoenal had to worry about was getting home and back to work. Looking through her extravagant carriage's windows though, she could see her face reflected back and it was clear that she wasn't particularly excited.
I planned for a single chapter but this grew too big sooooo, hope you enjoy this one shorter chapter and then another one to follow it!
Now, the real question is... do you remember Priya? She only had a small amount of screentime before so she might not be at the top of your memory. Either way though, no worries! We'll see more of her going forward, though probably not for a while after the next chapter.
Other than that though I've got nothing to say so, as always, I hope you have a wonderful day!
