Bab 156: Early morning gifts and goodbyes

The following morning came far too soon but, sure enough, everyone managed to pull themselves from their rooms to meet in the castle's lobby one last time before finally taking off. Some servants were running about making final preparations, but for the most part everything was already prepared. Now all that was left was final touches to everyone's gear as well as final goodbyes.

When Dahlia and Valentina arrived together, only two others had shown up first. Unsurprisingly, Lilli was present and fit as a fiddle, as she was the only one in their entire group to not need to absorb any natural treasures. In a similar way, Valentina was also well rested, though she certainly had a slightly harder time due to her constant shivering. The other person who was waiting in the lobby wasn't actually one of their travelling companions but was instead Rorick, the castellan.
