Much to the chagrin of everyone involved, the following day started early and time waited for no one. Those that were in the previous night's meeting were second guessing a few life choices as they awoke just at dawn, and Valentina and Dahlia were even worse.
Frankly, Dahlia could have been far worse off. She slept on and off through the entire afternoon and evening of the previous day, but not only was she the kind of person who always needed extra rest, but her body was still recovering from the excess stress she put it in. Similarly, Valentina not only had about three hours of sleep, but she was just as worn down from the previous day as Dahlia, if not more.
Irregular uploads might continue a bit. Highly dependent on my health, energy, and everything involved with my moving out.
In other news, just as a fun fact, I enjoyed writing this chapter more from Bessie's perspective. I really love her and I need to make sure I give her the time she deserves every now and then. I feel it's worth mentioning too that, just in the way Dahlia is very similar to myself, so too is Bessie. In fact, the same is true for Valentina as well.
I tend to create characters that are representative of myself (something that is true in my pathfinder characters as well), and so each of the three are different parts of myself. Because of this, it makes me really enjoy writing them and showing their different points of view. Sometimes I feel like I don't do enough for them, Bessie especcially, so hopefully this chapter and more in the future will continue to give her good moments and flesh her character out a bit better.
Anyways, as always, I hope you're having a wonderful day!
