Bab 96: Of myths and legends

Dahlia continued to happily hold onto Bessie as she kept trying to get her emotions in check, only to begin crying and hugging Dahlia harder than before. Even without magically enhancing her strength, the maid was naturally quite strong and Dahlia felt herself getting squished by the maid's enthusiasm. 

"Oh gods, I was hugging you and didn't even notice your arm. Shit shit shit, I didn't hurt you right? You're ok?"

She actually had hurt Dahlia a bit, but she was so used to pain that this honestly wasn't anything too bad. Besides, it was offset by the joy that came from getting hugged. Before she could even say that it was fine and not to worry though, Bessie let out a second cry of surprise.

"And your leg! W-what happened?! Are you ok? No, wait, of course you're not! Ahhh hell, ok umm, I can carry you? We'll do emergency healing asap and then regenerate your leg and arm once we reunite with Priya, ok? Ah, but… carrying you might be difficult…"
