"Are you certain we won't be discovered, Herena?" While being held by the young woman, Caspian questioned.

Caspian expected to hear some words, but all he heard was Herena laughing and shaking her shoulders. Caspian was able to see the woman's entire back. Everything about her made Caspian want to seize his breath, including her slender back, fair skin, and wavy golden hair.

Until his focus shifted to the hand holding his hand.

It was hot. For some reason, Caspian's face began to heat up, and his heart began to pound like a raging drum. All he could do was widen his eyes, and his brows began to furrow.

He didn't let himself breathe, and it wasn't until the lady stopped that he appeared to understand where he belonged. Herena let go of the young man as soon as she appeared to stop fleeing the hallway where they were both standing earlier, but Caspian responded by bending and inhaling heavily while still clutching the tops of his inner thighs.
